Week #14 Entry

Docile Bodies by Michael Foucault was long and a little bit harder to understand. What I got from the text, is that the body is a subject of attention. He talks about soldiers and controlling bodies. Docile bodies are achieved through discipline rather than force. Something that he talked about that confused me was about how groups aren’t made from individuals but individuals are made from groups. I think that maybe he might mean that an individual is created depending on the society they are a part of.
